Anna’s Songkran break
This year’s Songkran (Thai new year) I went to “Kho Tao” (Turtle island). We (My family and me) drove to the deck and rode a giant ship to Kho Tao, all this took about 9 hours. The Ship is really big, but still I felt dizzy and almost throw up after riding it, so I am really scared of ships.
When we finally arrived to the office of our hotel, Jamakiri hotel, we almost fell a sleep, but then the women told us that we are not in the hotel yet and we need to ride the hotel’s “truck” up the steepy hill. We can choose to sit in the truck or in the back of the truck, I choose the back. But when we are on the hill I feel like crying because the hill is so steep and scary.
Finally! We arrived to the hotel! The hotel looked like a palace! It is so big and so beautiful. The next day we went to the diving center to sign up to dive for 3 days. But I am not aloud to because I am too young. We had alot of fun in the rest of the week

bubbles2
BEFORE
Bubbles, bubbles,
All around me
Some stayed,
Some dubbled,
Some stopped,
And some popped!
AFTER
Bubbles, bubbles,
All around me
Some stayed,
Some dubbled,
While others popped,
All the colorful bubbles
Then…
Dissapeared.
I love bubble bath
Poems | Comment (0)Trip to Taiwan
We steped in the plane with exitments to go back to Taiwan…
3 hours later we arrived to Taiwan. “This is gonna be great… were home and its winter break!” yelled Kara my sister. We didn’t do much in my grandma’s home because it’s in downtown, but we went to the temple and this year there were lots of activitys in the temple. We played the games in there and won prizes.
The countdown was boring because theres not much fireworks, “I wish we were in Taipei so that we can see alot of fireworks” we complained.
On sunday we finally came to Taipei and were so happy.
Oh! and something interesting happend on the night of tuesday… I was sleeping in the bed room and suddenly woke up for som reason. Then a minute later I heard a sound, I looked up at the ceiling and saw a persons nail!!! But later it’s gone, I will never find out what happend that night.
On friday I woke up and didn’t see my dad! so I asked my aunt, and she said my grandad was sick and almost died but didn’t so my dad and my uncle went to see him.
The next day we came back and was very tired. “I wish the winter break was longer” I said.
Writings/Stories | Comment (0)Airplane’s Engines
Don’t ever sit beside the engine in the airplane because it hurts your ears during the take off and landing. When I came back to Thailand from Taiwan, my airplane seat was right beside the engine. During the take off I didn’t feel anything, but when the airplane was landing my eye balls almost burst out of my skull. Your ears hurt like a bomb just exploded right next to them.
Sitting beside the engine in the airplane is so loud that you cant really hear the movie on the headphone. The engine roars to life as it takes off and and slowly dies away when it’s landing. The engine makes me want to scream as loud as I can in front of everybody in the plane because of all the noise it made.
The thing I really liked to do in the airplane was to look at the view, but this time I can’t see any thing from the window because the engine was blocking the view!!! I could just see the ugly engine in front of me, that makes me want to chop up the engine (even though it will make the plane crash). I felt like daddy was wasting money on this plane ticket.
Don’t sit beside the airplane engine because it hurts your ears, it’s loud and you cant see the view out the window. I am saying this because I sat beside the engine in the airplane when I came back from Taiwan.

Book: Seesaw Girl
Author: Linda Sue Park
Date: 04/02/09
Book Level: T
At first I don’t like reading workshop but when the HF group starts, it became better and interesting. I like typing on the wiki but sometimes we have too much homework like today. Learned a lot about how to make a better post-it note. At first when we first start the book I had lots of questions and wonderings but grace who is Korean, helped me understand and the culture in the olden days. Seesaw Girl is a very god book.
